Most of the time, we have birds for sale in the spring and fall, but check back, you never know when something you can’t live without might be available.

If you are looking for something specific, ask. If we don’t have it, we probably know someone who does and can refer you to an outstanding breeder in the area.

We consider every bird hatched at Houck Hollow a member of our family. If you need help, we’re here. We love every little winged soul born on our property.

Because of that, we don’t sell adult birds for food consumption or eggs for balut. And we will only consider selling our birds to select buyers who will love and care for them as much as we do.

Our birds are pets and are given as much freedom as possible. They aren’t forced into pairs. We do, however, attempt to manage the population with fake eggs. And I promise every momma who hollers when I take her eggs that she will get a turn someday to raise her babies.

Moms deserve that.

Update: July 2025-As of now, we have no ducks or geese available for purchase. They’ve all bonded, and once they’ve done that, we keep them. If you want to reserve birds for next season or would like to order hatching eggs or mixed ducklings, you can place an order by contacting us at propertymanager@houckhollow.com.
