The Table
Everything’s coming up pink for Valentine’s Day! I used mix and match teacups and paired them with my white dinner plates topped with pink and purple flower salad plates.
It took me a while to decide on napkin rings and I finally chose silver hearts figuring I could use those for engagement parties as well. Since my table can seat twelve, it’s hard to find tablecloths that fit. This one is a plain pink which will likely double as my Easter tablecloth too.
Simple hearts and bows hang from the chandelier along with a reflective LOVE sign spinner.
The Room
I always insist on having plenty of reading material available during the holidays. Collecting holiday books is something I enjoy doing and discovering new reads is quite fun. To help keep them standing tall, I keep an assortment of little bookstands available.
My mom also loves having cozy blankets in holiday themes for the couch. This cute heart throw-rug is just too pretty to put on the floor. It’s become a favorite sleeping spot for my toy poodle.
There’s nothing that brightens a stairwell better than bows. I used to buy them premade but after watching a few tutorials, I found they’re rather easy to make yourself. I kept the white paper fans and bows I used in January and added on my pink and red Valentine lights and garland. Most of these I picked up at Hobby Lobby after holiday sales.
